A guided tour of the museum can be arranged on request. These tours can teach you a lot about this unique building and the people who lived in it. For example, you will hear all about the socialite lifestyle enjoyed by Mr and Mrs Willet-Holthuysen, the last people to occupy the listed building, as well as the day-to-day lives of their servants. The museum guides bring the period rooms in this canal-side building to life, taking you on a tour of the elegant ballroom, the magnificent staircase and the extensive art collection of Abraham Willet. Weather permitting, the tour includes a brief visit to the garden, which you are free to look around afterwards of your own accord. Tea and coffee are available in the historical museum kitchen.
Duration: approximately 1 hour
Price: €70 per 15 people (excl. museum entrance fee/max. 30 people per hour)
